Pre mill units on the S-200 joint the panel edge before the banding is applied, removing any saw marks or irregularities to ensure a clean, tight bond between the panel and the edge material. Our S-200 pre mill tooling features jointing cutters with diamond inserts for superior surface quality and extended tool life compared to standard carbide. Replacement PCD inserts are available separately to reduce tooling costs over the life of the cutterhead.
