Roundover Bits
Roundover router bits cut a convex, rounded profile along the edge of the material, softening sharp corners and producing a smooth, finished edge. The bearing guides the bit along the edge for a consistent result. Common applications include finishing edges on tabletops, shelves, and furniture components, preparing surfaces for painting or finishing, and improving the overall look and feel of wood projects. Multiple passes are especially important when using these bits on hardwood to avoid tear-out and achieve a clean, even profile.
