Pre mill

Pre mill units on the Akron 400 use 80mm cutterheads to joint the panel edge before banding is applied, removing any saw marks or irregularities for a tight, consistent bond. Our Akron 400 pre mill tooling features PCD diamond cutting surfaces for superior surface quality and extended tool life. Replacement PCD inserts and 100mm jointing tools are available separately to support ongoing production without replacing the full cutterhead.
