Countertop surface planer bits are designed for leveling and smoothing solid surface countertops such as acrylic, Corian, and similar engineered materials. They remove surface imperfections, level uneven areas, and flush edges and seams during fabrication and installation. These bits can also serve as trim bits for cleaning up edges and bringing surfaces into alignment. They are particularly useful during seam work, where two panels of solid surface material need to be brought to a perfectly flat, flush joint before bonding.
